Adventures in Twin Potty Training: Day 3

Editor's Note:  I wrote this post in real-time, though I've waited a while to publish it.  Why?  Check out this recap.  Now, cue the time machine and let's back up a few weeks...  

Adventures in Twin Potty Training: Day 3

Mood:  Excited to put some cutey-patooty underwear one some twin bunkins.

Hopes:  That they'll just "get it" like they seem to have gotten it so far.

Fears:  Regression.  I've heard that day 2 or 3 can be serious speed bumps.  I also wonder if we're putting underwear on too soon.

Reality:  If Day 1 and Day 2 were like leapfrogging three steps forward, today was like taking two quantum leaps back.  The kids took to wearing underwear like champs.  And they were adorable.  Sadly, they also mimicked the feel of diapers, because after only one accident in the first two days we had seven accidents today.  Three from Caden and four from Addison.  But worse, they seemed to have lost all awareness of "feeling it comiiiiiinnnnnnggg" and were only able to verbalize after it was too late.

Final Editor's Note:  My husband should really start buying lottery tickets.  Out of seven accidents today he managed to miss all but one of them.  Legitimate misses, but still.
