- Travis recently mounted our flat screen to the wall... and then got his DIY on by drilling a hole in the mortar, putting a power outlet into the attic, and routing the power cord up through the ceiling so there are no more exposed cords for little hands to pull on. Yay for being married to Mr. Fix-It!!
- The kids managed to stay still long enough to watch a little football with Dad while I was out running errands last weekend. Really brought back the memories of Travis holding a sleeping baby through entire football games when they were tiny.
- We are enjoying the kids' preschool projects alot! Not only are they great conversation pieces and decoration for the playroom... we frequently spend a little time continuing the project at home. (I imagine it's hard to focus on completing their work with eleven other kids playing nearby.) Ex: These lovely apple bags came home with only a little red paint on them... and now look at them! (Doesn't Caden's pic look like a mug shot?)
- The kids are more adept at helping me cook now... We made pudding this week and after I laid out all the ingredients they were able to pour in their own milk with only a few drops spilled. When we made muffins they were able to add milks and whisk a little bit. We ignored the batter splatter than ensued and still called it successful... after all the muffins still tasted great in the end!
