The Johnson Farm

As the kids began to improve, they were still symptomatic.  So we didn't want to visit anyone.  Or go anywhere especially public.  But we'd been housebound for 8 days.  It was time to get out.  And out we went!  To the Johnson Farm.  My family has all kinds of ties to this place.  And now my babies do too!    (Bonus:  It was a workday for some of my dad's friends so there was a tiny bit of twin-gazing and grandparent-glowing going on.)

The kids had a great time.  They met their very first donkeys, and Caden even held Grampy's hand while he fed them!  For her part, Addison was much more comfortable three steps back or in Grammy's arms saying, "It's ok?" over and over.

Then they got to check out some old farm equipment with Grammy and feed Jack and Jill (the sheep)...

Oh, and there was exploring.  Running.  Playing peek-a-boo.  And all manner of checking things out.    There were trees to be touched, flowers to be smelled and porches to discover.  A last minute tractor ride with Grampy, who was mowing the grounds.  A leisurely promenade with Grammy.  And a little driving lesson as Grampy packed up his gear.  What sweet little moments in time...  I am so glad I had my camera!
