- The kids got to see "twin" baby deer in our back yard. They're just big enough to peek out the window from atop their step stools...
- The kids really enjoyed playing with glitter glue. Not to actually stick things to paper... just to create glittery puddles of goo of course!
- I finally got around to labeling the plastic containers I use to store manipulatives. And it makes me so happy to see those neat little labels all lined up.
- Playhouse update: It is more fun to play in the house when it is upside down or sideways than when it is right side up.
- We went on a "treasure walk" and brought buckets to hold all the treasures we found on our way down to the neighborhood creek and back. Today's loot: sticks, rocks, leaves, pine cones, and a deer sighting! Here we are exploring our treasures again, this time inside.
- And finally... I thought it was so sweet when I walked by the playroom and saw Caden, sitting right behind his sister, sweetly running his fingers through her hair. They were both smiling. And I smiled, as I went to get the Windex and thought, "What a sweet brother he is." When I came back with it, I surprised a very focused Caden, who was aiming something down the floor vent. I yelled for him to stop just as the clip left his fingers and clattered below the floorboards into the vent pipe. You guessed it, sweet little Caden is also has great spatial sense. Her hair clips were the perfect size to send down the vents. Note the plural. He didn't put both down the same vent, oh no...
