Shark Vac-Attack

Caden loves to vacuum.  If I'm running the big one, he frequently asks to help me and if I'm not in a hurry I do.  If I am in a hurry, I finish up and then tie off the vacuum to the baby gate so it can't be pulled over... and he uses the hose attachment for a looooog time.  Until I have to convince him that the vacuum is tired and needs to rest.  Things go much better when I let him use our Shark hand vac, because he can hear the batteries start to die and decides to let it rest on his own.  The worst he could do is drop it on his foot, at least that's what I thought.

Last week in a moment of need, I pulled our sand/water table into the kitchen and let them play with rainbow rice.  I knew it would make a mess, bu mama needed a little peace.  So I let the mess happen and handed him the vac.  Things went fine at first, until I realized he was dropping handfuls of rice on the floor just so he could vacuum it right back up.  I asked him to stop and he did.  After inventing a new way to get his vac-attack on...
