Trunk Or Treat?!?

I'll admit, I had only limited knowledge of this thing called "Trunk or Treat?"  before this year, but they are seriously the way to go!  The church where the kids attend preschool hosted a "Trunk or Treat" last Sunday, and there were just enough cars/trunks to make it profitable for the kids but still doable on toddler legs.  Here are the kids, I mean Bob & Wendy, as they headed into the parking lot...

We had Gramzy and Pop with us, plus we met up with the Smith family, so it was extra-extra fun!!  Here's the best group shot we got - two people looking at the same camera... we'll take it!  

All would have been perfect if it hadn't been so chilly and if Caden hadn't been feeling under the weather.  Can't you tell it in the picture above?!??  Poor guy, he lasted about six cars and then asked to go back to the van and watch a movie.  We did.  And left the treat gathering to Addison and the picture taking to Travis...  

Addison was apparently a model treat-gatherer.  She accidentally grabbed two of those powder stick things that I used to love as a kid, and immediately handed one of them back.  The sweet guy at that car told her she was welcome to have two : )  Can't wait to do some real trick or treating tonight in our neighborhood...  It will be even colder than "Trunk or Treat", but think now that they've got the idea it will be much easier to get them into costume this time around!
