Our house was built in 1966. So it has the kind of sink faucets that are backed right up to the rear of the sink. Making it impossible for toddlers to wash their own hands without using super-tall step stools. Or Mom holding them up to reach. (Negative and NEGATIVE.) I found these little beauties on Amazon and got two. And I held on to them, forgot about them, rediscovered them and then introduced them without further ado this week. I had no idea how they'd really work. But oh-happy-day, they've turned out to be all kindsa wonderful.
They slipped right over our old, outdated faucets with no leaks. And they extend the water flow out to where the kids can just reach it using our existing single-step stools. AND... they love this new-found ability to wash their own hands! Totally worth the cash. Now our potty routine closes with moving the stool over to the sink and sudsing up. Addison even said the other day, "Got to tinkle so I can wash!"
Bless you, Aqueduck.
