More Playroom Tweaks

The playroom mirror FINALLY got rehung.  I decided to use Hercules Hooks in all the original holes, and just bent the hanger nice and tight.  So now, if the pull it away from the wall they'll have to coordinate, and lift up at least four inches, evenly across all three holes to get it to come off.  That should take them at least a week to figure out, right?

I enlarged and framed this little beauty to hang above our library shelves...  It's about 11x16 but I wanted to zoom up for the details.

I love it for so many reasons.  Those are my babies' hands.  Forever one year old.  Immersed in a bunch of nonsensical water beads.  Beads that make me curse them every time I insist on dragging them out.  But the kids love them.  They are fun.  And I would frame dirt if it had my sweet twinlet hands in it.

And I'm dipping my toes back into the waters of Lake Crazy.  I'm picking up where I left off (how many months ago now???) with my painted toilet paper tube art for those giant frames that are part of the back playroom wall.  Just because it was a giant failure the first time around doesn't mean it won't be fabulous this time, right?  Stay tuned!
