As has been the tradition for the last few years, we spent the 4th of July with Gramzy and Pop. Not only is there a whole bunch of fireworks on the lake to watch from the comfort of their back porch, we also get to celebrate Travis' birthday on the day after. This year our trip included all sorts of new things for the kids involving the lake. We are SO PROUD of them! They rode the wave runner, the paddle board, inflatable boats, and were even willing to be handed over the side of the dock and down into the lake to their waiting mother for some swimming. And they wore their life jackets without complaint the whole time. Unfortunately, we were so busy having fun and keeping the kids safe that we didn't get any action shots. So instead, let's take a walk down memory lane, back to our first July 4th with children... They were not even two months old (which means we were either crazy, suffering from extreme sleep deprivation, or both). Amazing stuff, right?!?!
