On really hot days we pray for the mosquitoes to leave us alone and head out for some water play... And boy do we have fun! Although we put all sorts of manipulatives in the sand/water table, plain old water is definitely their favorite medium. On our last water play adventure they scooped, poured, sprinkled and splashed with glee. In the process they also discovered how to make their own footprints! (And watered the grass really well--refilling was a continuous job!) PS Are those diapers close to bustin' loose or what... they're leftovers from last year that we're trying to use up.
