Dinner out is always good. Dinner out with friends is even better. Dinner out with friends who understand the world of twindom... now that's just plain amazing! Four parents + two sets of twins under age three that remained tantrum-free + one yummy dinner on the porch = a lovely evening all the way around. I neglected to take any of my own photos, because to go back into the house for the camera after loading the car might have sent me right over edge. As it was I arrived with wet hair. Ah, but twin-friends understand these things! And take enough photos to share. Pictures which show the reality of twin-parenting. Notice no grown ups eating together? Yep, we pretty much ate in shifts while taking turns manning the exits and stairways, setting up, cleaning up and keeping everyone safely occupied. But it was still a wonderful break from the usual routine of life. And Landon and Emory were gracious hosts, sharing their things generously and showing Caden and Addison all that they'll be able to do in another 10 months or so. We are already looking forward to getting together again, next time it's our turn to host!
