We love our Wheely Bugs! The kids got a tiger and a lady bug for their first birthday, courtesy of Aunt Lindy and Uncle Steve and they've been on a roll ever since. At first they used them like a walker, so the animal was always rolling backwards as they walked pushing the handle. And they especially appreciated the antennae which are great fun to play with! But soon enough they began to hop on and scoot. Backwards first, then sideways, and finally forward. The kids were delighted to find that Discovery had four of five of them ready to ride... and they made a beeline for them as soon as they saw them! We even took them outside in the driveway once, but afterward decided we'd rather keep the plastic casters in good condition and now they're for indoors only. I'm glad we did, because I think we'll be using these for a long time to come. Now the kids use them as bumper cars occasionally, or to cruise around and pull up to things. Like the picture window in the playroom or the toddler table. And Addison sometimes likes to ride backwards now! Thanks Lindy and Steve... your birthday gift just keeps on giving!
