Toddlerhood This Week

I'm convinced that toddler-hood-times-two is summed up this way... "And when they are good, they are very, VERY good and when they are bad they are CHA-LLENG-ING." At least that's the way I think the line should go.

The twinlets are delicious. Delightful. Delectable. And Darling. Most of the time. But when one of them decides to rock the boat, well we give the Titanic a run for the most dramatic sinking ship award. And if they both decide to give it a go at the same time, well that's when I lock myself in a closet. With ear plugs. And lots of chocolate. Thank goodness it doesn't happen very often, or I'd be redecorating some closets around here! Check out a few of the (very, VERY good twin) pics from this week:
  • We broke out the flannel pajammer-jams (side note: Addison calls them "ams"). I could seriously gobble those babes up when I collect the snuggly and oh-so-toasty-warm littles each morning.
  • We tried playing with our first imaginative play set (cashier's stand--best $4 Goodwill find EVER! ) and play fruit that velcros together (free w/ Pampers rewards points). Note: Addison got right into exploring, while Caden roared he was so excited. I call it his lion face.
  • When Travis tried out his new laptop for work, all he saw was one set of fingers after another creeping over the edge of the screen and poking around the ports.
  • The kids were stone-cold-mesmerized by my Dad's iPod... he made it talk to them!
  • I finally captured a shot of Addison, post-early-church, sucking her thumb just like her Aunt Lindy used to when she was a tiny one. Could you not just melt into a puddle of good over those sweet fingers?!?
  • And speaking of fingers, our little man is into everything. Including the hubcaps of Dad's car. Check the brake dust evidence!
