Green Level Gourd Farm

So worth the money.  This place was exactly as advertised...  nothing fancy schmancy, just what you'd imagine if your grandparents spookified their farm for you to visit.   The kids sat on a tractor, took their first hayride, rode a tire swing and climbed through a drainpipe tunnel...

Then Caden discovered his favorite part of the farm.  A red ride-on Massey Ferguson.  While he was motoring around Addison practiced holding hands with Dad.  She was way into exploring everything.

But eventually she wanted in on the tractor action.  See them checking out the other's ride and comparing notes?  If only they could have reached the pedals...

Can you tell he's thinking?

Can you tell where Caden gets his thinking look?

First time feeling a pumpkin.  Caden was so intruiged, I had a hard time tearing him away!  Addison was interested, but moved on pretty quickly.

First time in a corn maze.  Caden didn't want any of it.  But Addison was into it big-time.  She led Dad around by the hand until they heard Caden protesting the leaving of the pumpkins.

Sweetest boy was asleep for most of the ride home.  Sweetest girl just sucked her thumb the whole way.  And Mama and Dada...  well, we had a wonderful day with our little pumpkins at the gourd farm!  How amazing it is to see the newness of everything and every season through their eyes.
