Keeping Busy

These days we are always busy, keeping two toddlers occupied! This is made even harder by the super-hot weather that keeps us indoors most of the time... but we did make it to the park before the worst of it hit this week. And boy have the kids changed. They loved the swings... more, if that's possible. They were pushing our hands away to let them roam free. They walked really well by themselves, on sidewalks, grass and even mulch... with shoes on (they don't get much practice with shoes just yet). They thought the big kid equipment was way more fun than the toddler stuff... and were moving on it so fast, and so individually that I'm sad to say I don't think I can safely take them by myself :(

When we're house-bound, the kids like to play in big boxes together. They like playing with mom's shoes. They LOVE playing with magnets and magnetic frames on the fridge. And they are really digging on the baby pool filled with ball-pit balls. Today they were laying down in them, flipping over, getting happy feet, filling their shirts with balls, finding balls I hid, oh it was a good hour of fun! Must get pictures next time we play...
