Coming Home

What a big day it was, coming home from the hospital! Our little twins caused quite the commotion as we were wheeled out of the building. Everyone wanted to stop and take a peek at our beautiful babies! I couldn't blame them though.  We couldn't stop looking at them either.

As we left the hospital, we could hardly believe that the nurses were just letting us leave with you.  We hadn't passed a test or proven our worth in any way.  And yet, you were ours.  Dad drove very carefully all the way home, while you slept all snuggled into your car seats.  And together we walked into our house as a family of four for the very first time.
