The nursing staff at Wake Med... well, they rocked! From start to finish we never encountered anyone we didn't like. Each one was kind, compassionate, helpful, informative, and understanding. Several of them came to visit us after we moved off their hall, just to see our babies or to see us. And one especially wonderful nurse prayed over our children the night before we left (with our permission of course).
She sweetly and softly prayed for their health and happiness all throughout life.
And I don't think I have ever been more thankful for the kindness and help
of complete strangers, as we stepped into parenthood.

One of those moments in life that are few and far between, but one that will never be forgotten. Those are the people that make a lasting impression. As they say, "The heart remembers."
