What Have the Parents Been Doing:
Depending on help! With me down and out, mom and dad have come to the rescue. Sitting with me when Travis was out of town for meetings and doing all manner of last minute things from grocery shopping and errands to doing the wash. How grateful we are for the help! A few friends have also brought dinners or baby gear by, we are so lucky!! In addition, we've finalized names, completed our birth plan, and are now just sitting on go...
What Have the Babies Been Doing:
Making me VERY uncomfortable as they continue to grow in the limited space they have. Our girl seems to like to split my upper abdominal muscles alot when she moves, and our boy seems to enjoy blasting my internal organs with his kicks. They are definitely staying put in their current positions for the duration... But, they have surely grown as the pictures above show! Can you believe that belly?!?? I would love to know what they weigh now but we'll have to wait for next Thursday's ultrasound or delivery, whichever comes first!
What Will The Babies Be Doing in Week 35:
Well, they won't be maneuvering much now, since they should be over 18 inches long and tip the scales at 5 1/4 pounds each (imagine two honeydews). Because my belly is so snug, they aren't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times they kick should remain about the same. I count them once a day to keep an eye on things... Kidneys are fully developed now and livers can process some waste products. Most of the basic physical development is now complete — they'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight... if we make it that long! There's no telling when it will be time for their birthday, so far I haven't noticed major changes now that I'm off the meds I was on. But then again, you can't really see it coming with any accuracy. What an amazing thing it is to sit here, waiting on miracles...

Oh Jenn! That just looks incredibly uncomfortable. You still look beautiful though. :o) I am hoping and praying for them to come really soon, and also for them to be in perfect health if they do have an early arrival. Thinking about you lots!
