Week 19: Tummy Tracker

This week has been a busy one. Trav is out in Utah for work until Sunday. I have been tracked out all week (yippee!!) so I've gotten to focus on things at home. Mom and Dad have been with me since Travis left, doing all sorts of things that needed doing and getting to spend some relaxed time together. They just left and Lindy's heading down to spend the rest of the weekend with me until Travis returns. I'm feeling some shopping coming on!!!

In baby news, this week has brought more frequent and more noticeable movement! I have to be fairly still to feel it, especially our little girl. She's either a quiet one, or she's buried in my upper abdomen along with my stomach and lungs! I definitely feel our little boy more, but then again when someone is dancing on your bladder it tends to be more obvious. Sleeping is hit or miss, for no apparent reason. I always sleep pretty well until 2:30ish but after that it's 50/50 whether I'll toss and turn or crash out again. The belly is ever expanding, a little at a time. Here is this week's proof... We're officially half-way to a full-term pregnancy!!!

Now for the update on the babes! They weigh about 10 1/2 ounces each now and are around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom (about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana). Turns out that for the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe. Now we can imagine them all stretched out!
