We went in prepared to hear all kinds of things that could be problems. We were just hoping for things that weren't definite problems. And wishfully thinking how nice it would be if the babies cooperated and we could tell their genders. We are so thankful. We got more than we could have hoped for, on all counts.
The technician spent a good hour taking tons of pictures of our little ones and measuring everything there was to measure; their lips, eyes, brains, hearts and blood flow, spines, leg bones, arm bones, placentas, umbilical cords, fluid amounts, their movements, and so on. Not once was there ever a cause for them to note any concerns according to the tech and the doctor who came in later to review our photos. Double Phew!!
Also, we were blessed to find out both babies' genders. Baby A, which is low and to my left, is a BOY! Baby B, which is high and to my right, is a GIRL! Precious, precious, we have one of each! It's like we're going to instantly have a complete family of four. Such a wonderful gift today was, to hear that we have healthy babies. To see them again (in 3-D no less!). And to know more about the little ones we already love so much. God is good, AMEN!
