Whose House? Heels House!

As the new music suggests, Carolina is on my mind. Saturday we got to enjoy a packed house at Kenan Stadium with Lindy and Steve.

Notre Dame was tough, and the officiating was even tougher. But my Heels pulled through! It was good to be back on campus, lots of good memories there. The night was beautiful as was the sunset behind the stadium and the fireworks at every score. We particularly enjoyed the fly-over from the uber-fast, black and bat-like plane that came out of nowhere. Never mind that we had to huddle for warmth up there in row S of the upper deck for the better part of the game, and that the TV time outs and play review took approximately FOREVER... The house was rockin' and you couldn't help but catch the energy of the place.

I spent the hour it took us to get out of the parking deck being grateful. For family to share these experiences with. For the sacrifices of my parents, who sent me to UNC in the first place. For the friends who gave the tickets. For the time together and for all things Carolina. Go Heels!!!
