This week has been one long string of, "Who me?" Yes, our sweet little angels are spending alot of time coming up with all sort of hijinks. I enter into evidence...
- Why yes, we can build steps out of toy bins. After creating a colossal mess at the toy shelf of course. Then we can indeed climb on top of them. With only the occasional fall. See Mom, not as dangerous as you keep telling us... (Note: The second picture was basically the mugshot of a repeat offender. And she's in the middle of saying, "Dat's a red choice.")
- I set up snack, got the kids busy eating and then dashed upstairs to pick up their shorts. By the time I got back, the party had moved to the table top.
- Addison decided to help with the laundry... and I discovered the girl can fold! Seriously, not bad for a two year old!
- Caden still loves the leaf blower... Addison is a much slower convert, but she's now willing to put on the gear.
- The kids are pretty adept at undressing themselves when they get a mind to... Unfortunately, they get the idea at the worst times. Like the other night, when things had finally quieted down in their nursery after I put them down. And I checked the monitor, only to discover Addison laying there, almost asleep, with half her jammies off. I had to get her up and dress her again, in the dark. Took me three tries before I got it all right because she'd turned some parts inside out but not others.
- Caden loves to play with the indoor "crispy" (frisbee). It's crocheted and perfect for inside play. He's got a pretty good arm! Unfortunately he also puts that throwing arm to use tossing other toys across the playroom. Toys like blocks, books, tools, and well, anything that he isn't intended for throwing.
