Past Tense

The blog has been a bit slow this week because we've been on vacation.  We've got lots to share, so stay tuned...  but to kick the week off right, here's a little toddler humor.  The kids are beginning to get the idea of past tense.  And in so doing, they add "-ed" to all their verbs to show past tense.  Which is right some of the time.  And pretty darn hysterical the rest of the time.

Example:  We took one last walk on the beach this morning and Addison was right in front of Travis in the deep sand.  She bit the dust, falling to her hands and knees and was fine.  After a quick chuckle and a dust-off from Dad she promptly took two steps and bit it again.  This time, pancake style.  Belly to the sand like Superman.  And without missing a beat she said, "Addison do-ed (pronounced "dude") it again!"
