The kids got to feed the catfish...
Caden jumped on the wave runner with Travis, no coaxing needed! Then he happily took mom for a few rides too...
Addison wasn't quite on board with that idea yet, wading in the shallows and walking her new inflatable boat around was more her speed...
Caden wasn't much for those things... I mean, come on... where is the motor on this thing??!?
The kids lounged on the dock...
Had picnics in the grass...
And then Addison decided to get brave and asked me to go for a ride with her... Soon she was driving!
Not to be outdone, we returned to find Caden on the front of Travis' paddle board. Looking like the cutest hood ornament you've ever seen. Of course Addison wanted to show off her skills too...
This led to Addison getting her bravery on, and asking to get into the water with me. As in free floating with our life jackets. Who am I to say no, I'd only been floating like a shriveled up prune for 14 hours waiting on her to ask... : )
When the kids weren't at the lake there was plenty of water play on the porch...
Plenty trips around the yard on Pop's tractor (oh the miles this boy has already logged)...
And a ton of fun at Discovery on the way out of town...
Fun times, fun times!! It's so wonderful to be along for the ride as they grow and discover the world around them...
