Instead of icing I just used a glue stick to connect the two muffin liners. I was too busy to make leaves or use a real pot. I just threw together what I had. And then was dismayed to realize after all that effort that you can't really store them easily. So most went stale before we could eat them. BUT, I figured out a great way to use the leftover muffin tin scraps... So I'm tucking this idea away for future use. You know, next time I'm hosting a springtime party for fifteen.

Daffodil Muffins
I went off of this idea and made some lemon daffodil muffins with the kids. They learned about lemons, zest and batter while getting to smell, add and mix. And I learned that this is one of those crazy-awesome ideas that just aren't realistic for a mom of twins under two : )
