The warmer weather has gotten us started yearning for summer! So we broke out the sunglasses and posed away... (Side note: It is so funny to me, how Addison instinctively seems to know how to glam it up while Caden prefers to look like Elvis.)
Then Dad very smartly broke out our new life jackets for us to try on and practice wearing. I'm sure you can tell by their faces how excited they were about wearing them : ( Addison immediately said, "Too big..." after which they lasted approximately 6.2 seconds. Also, Travis has been talking alot about life jackets through this book I picked up by chance at the library... Hopefully, this prior experience will help us out the first time they realize they have to wear these things ALL THE TIME when they're near the lake. With both sets of grandparents having lake access, I foresee lots of "play water" in our futures!
