Flashback

So much has changed in a year...  About this time, twelve months ago the babies were still roly-poly and had just started to get mobile.  Which meant we popped up our first baby gate.  The kids could scoot all over the place, but mostly backward.  And they got caught all the time underneath furniture.  Pulling up to their knees had commenced although everyone was still very wobbly.  Our pack 'n plays were still in use and we had just received our big kid car seats.  Which at the time seemed to swallow them.  They had gotten used to their new double stroller, which meant mom didn't have to lug around the infant car seats any longer.  Caden had been introduced to the wonders of the cell phone (he's never looked back).  And we were just beginning to practice with sippy cups.  Reading had already become a favorite activity, especially for Addison.  And their little personalities had really begun to emerge.  We knew that pulling up to a stand, walking, talking and more were just around the corner.  And as usual, we knew not what we were in for...  It's kind of nice to take a look back now and then.  To see how far we've all come.
