Meet the Lakes!

Yesterday the kids had their first real play date! My sweet friend Jill and her baby girl Meredith have been meeting up with us every week or so for the last few months. If it's nice we walk our neighborhood. Through the cold and wet weeks we've walked the mall. But yesterday we tried something new... coffee for the moms and playing for the kids. It's the first time Caden and Addison have really been independent enough to actually play with another kid around. SO FUN to watch. They just stared at Meredith... and well, so did I.  A. She's beautiful. So full of personality. And so adorably dressed without fail.  B. She's the size our kiddos will be in a little over a year. I can hardly imagine the twinlets being that age...  It was so refreshing to see the kids learning to socialize. And to have another grown up around for a few hours! What a treat to spend the morning with such sweet friends... The kids and I can't wait to do it again soon!
