Catching Up

Been busy here lately, what with two kids crawling, new car seats and a new stroller arriving, and starting some finger foods... I'm a little sad, watching their infant days slip away. But I'm also so happy for all the new skills and new discoveries that come with each new stage. And there is alot of newness in our household these days...

Both kiddos can feed themselves puffed Os with their thumb and forefinger, and Addison loves to play with a spoon when she's eating. I think she thinks she's helping!

They notice each other more, though they don't actually play together often. Right now they're just wanting the toy that the other is playing with or wanting to see what the other has discovered. Sometimes they get each other to laughing, and it's the most precious thing ever! I so wish I knew what they thought was so funny...

Caden has gotten himself coordinated and can crawl wherever he likes in no time flat. He still has the "rhino face" of determination once he sets his sights on something that he's going to get. Addison is crawling army style, arm over arm on her belly. But she is no less mobile and gets everywhere she wants to go, just a little more covertly. Both are quite pleased to be able to move as they wish, and both have already found just about everything we don't want them into.
