Finally! The kids got to meet Granny and Grandhoyt for the first time. It was quite a long trip, so we've been waiting until the kids got old enough to travel that far. Then dad got sick and we delayed a few more weeks. But it was so worth the wait! We hated to come and go so fast, with a six hour round trip to make that day we had to. How special it was to introduce my babies to their great grandparents for the first time! I so clearly remember my own childhood visits to Granny's, I can hardly believe I have kids of my own doing the same thing...

Seeing these pictures made me cry. Oh, I miss them all so badly. Glad you and the babies got to go visit though! :o)
