Today

It's been a hard string of days... the babies are going through a growth spurt, so their feeding is all wacky. And all the time it seems. Thus, their sleeping is off. So some days are harder than others. For example, two nights ago I think mom and I got about 3 hours of sleep. Maybe. But the day was better and the kids took good naps. Last night on the other hand was wonderful. We got about 8 hours, broken up of course. But it made for a nice night. Then today, the kids hardly slept. And they ate almost constantly. This made for very fussy babies. But just when it was getting crazy, it rained. And inspiration hit.  I grabbed the kidlets, put them in their car seats, and took them to the front porch where we watched the rain together while I rocked them. We felt the wind. And listened to the storm. And for 5 minutes, they were quiet. Of course, as soon as the downpour stopped... they started up again. But it was wonderful, introducing them to the rain!
