Well folks, we are full term and the babies are into their 37th week. Truly miraculous! When we go into labor, their lungs will likely be mature enough to fully adjust to life outside the womb. (Some babies need a bit more time, we'll see when we meet them.)
Our tiny ones weigh around 6 1/3 pounds and measure a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard). Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. Others have peach fuzz. Can't wait to see what our babes arrive with!
We are still waiting on labor signs. In the mean time I am grateful for the doctor's suggestion to take a Benedryl before bed. I was able to get two 1-hour stretches of sleep in last night!!! Hoping for even better tonight...
