Reflections on January

So far this month:  a new computer, which has led to becoming a Facebook newbie, which has in turn led me to renew some old friendships that I'd let fall by the wayside over time.  Lindy has a newly repaired foot, which has led to mom and dad being new residents of Cary for a few weeks.  I now have new laundry room shelving, thus a weirdly renewed interest in doing laundry.  A crazy amount of work stuff going on, on the eve of a new president taking office... and thank goodness and a holiday to get all this newness under control!  As I hang on the edge, balanced between control and chaos...  How I love a day off!  I plan to use it to catch up on work (both school and house stuff) so that I can head into the week prepared.

If the first two weeks of January are any indication, I am going to be a busy girl this month!
