I'm A Coupon Queen

I admit it.  I've always been stingy, though Travis will correctly point out that I didn't wince when we bought our new Mac...  so occasionally I do visit normalcy I guess.  Most often though I'm picking off a menu, choosing movie times, or sorting through clothing racks with price at the front of my mind.  A new pair of pants is good if I really need them.  A new pair of pants on sale makes me forget that they're pea green.  A new pair of pants, on sale, that I get to use a coupon for puts me in happy-dance-let's-go-out-to-dinner-and-celebrate mode!  So it's no surprise that I've gotten a bit hooked on grocery coupons.

Because we get the weekend paper, clipping coupons is part of the routine.  Travis took my coupon effort to a whole new level when he helped me set up a coupon organizing system that actually works for me.  Today though I hit a new high.  Happy New Year To ME...  Harris Teeter was having TRIPLE COUPON weekend!  I just got home and between the VIC deals and coupons I took a $144.27 bill down to $86.08!  That's almost 40% off the regular price!  And this makes me 100% happy!!!
