Geepers Creepers

As we pulled into our driveway the other night, I saw two sets of yellow eyes on a tree on our backyard. They looked pretty far up and so I thought they were squirrels. Then of course, it struck me that they must be giant squirrels... and then I realized. We have 'coons! Travis parked and grabbed a head lamp and spotted them for me. They stayed glued to the tree, even though we walked right up under them as if to say, "Nothing to see here!"... How 'bout that. In our little old Raleigh neighborhood, we have seen snakes, deer, foxes, hawks, bats and now... raccoons!
